Jesper Mortensen

Jesper has worked professionally with big data, machine learning, and AI projects both as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as a leader in business development and innovation at Maersk.

He has over 15 years of experience in strategy and leadership at the executive level, while also possessing deep hands-on expertise with AI.

In addition to a master’s degree in strategy and management from CBS, Jesper has studied a wide range of key topics within AI, including machine learning (Harvard University), neural networks (Stanford & DeepLearning.ai), large language models (UC Berkeley & Databricks), prompt engineering (OpenAI) and AI strategy & governance (Wharton).

For more than 20 years, Jesper has also taught at CBS alongside his other work.
